MonumentoÉcole Technique Officielle
This former Salesian school in Kigali is where, on April 11, 1994, genocide extremists killed over 2,000 Rwandans who had sought refuge under the protection of UN peacekeepers who then withdrew. The tragedy inspired the film Shooting Dogs, and today the site stands as a quiet place for remembrance rather than sightseeing.
